| 2007 Con Cast Pipe/SkyCast Scholarship Winner! Announcing the winner of the Con Cast Pipe/Sky Cast Educational Scholarship for 2007, Dennis (D.J.) Smith. Dennis is the son of Tony Smith of Sky Cast.
We’re very proud to tell you a little about Dennis. He’s enrolled in Broadcasting Television and Communication Media at Mohawk College in Hamilton and already has great broadcasting experience filming and interviewing many Canadian celebrities such as Tom Cochrane, David Suzuki, Ronnie Hawkins and local Guelphite, Steven Truscott.
Dennis is very involved outside of school as well with a local youth group, cross-country program, Scouting and bowling league and is looking forward to participating in the cross-country and rugby teams at Mohawk. We wish Dennis well at Mohawk and trust he’ll continue with his excellent grades (over 90% all three years). Congratulations, Dennis! |
