  • WHAT IS TRI-SPAN? CONCAST’S INNOVATIVE SOLUTION!

Tri-Span being installed on an construction site

Have you seen those three-sided, flat-top, and open bottom precast culverts? Have you ever wondered what they are? They’re called Tri-Span.

    What are they for?

Tri-Span is a highly effective and environmentally conscious solution for managing water flow in applications that involve streams, creeks, or other narrow waterways. These open bottom precast culverts, used in applications where we don’t want to disturb the existing waterway, are designed to meet the unique challenges of watercourse crossings, providing an efficient, cost-effective alternative to traditional full bridge construction.

With their innovative geometry and environmental benefits, Tri-Span culverts offer enhanced performance, faster installation, and long-term durability, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of infrastructure projects.

    Custom In-House Engineering

Each Tri-Span system is custom designed by our in-house engineering team according to your specifications, ensuring accuracy.

Tri-Span units are placed on top of footings, which can be cast-in-place or precast. Our precast footings are innovative and cost-effective and can eliminate the need for piles where poor ground conditions exist.
